1. Introduction and Commitment

Facade Line LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to ensuring that our website at https://facadeline.com/ and all associated digital content and services are accessible to the widest possible audience, including individuals with disabilities. We believe that all users, regardless of ability, should be able to access information about our exterior design visualization services, navigate our website, complete our contact and order forms, and engage with our business without encountering unnecessary barriers.

This Accessibility Policy describes our current approach to web accessibility, the standards and guidelines we work toward, the known limitations of our current website implementation, the accommodations we offer to users who experience access barriers, and our ongoing commitment to improving accessibility over time.

This Policy applies to all content and functionality available on https://facadeline.com/, including all web pages, forms, images, and any third-party content or tools embedded in our website. Where third-party tools or embedded services introduce accessibility limitations beyond our direct control, we identify those limitations in this Policy and describe the alternatives we provide.

2. Accessibility Standards and Guidelines

2.1 Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)

Our accessibility efforts are guided by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). WCAG provides an internationally recognized framework for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including individuals with visual, auditory, motor, cognitive, speech, and neurological disabilities.

We work toward conformance with WCAG 2.1 at Level AA, which represents the standard most widely adopted by governments, regulators, and organizations as the baseline for legally adequate web accessibility. WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance requires that web content meets the following four core principles, commonly referred to as POUR:

• Perceivable: Information and user interface components must be presented to users in ways they can perceive. This includes providing text alternatives for non-text content, captions for multimedia, and ensuring content can be presented in different ways without losing meaning.
• Operable: User interface components and navigation must be operable by a range of input methods. This includes keyboard accessibility, sufficient time to interact with content, avoidance of content that could cause seizures, and navigable page structures.
• Understandable: Information and the operation of the user interface must be understandable. This includes readable text, predictable page behavior, and input assistance to help users avoid and correct errors.
• Robust: Content must be robust enough to be reliably interpreted by a wide variety of user agents, including current and future assistive technologies. This includes the use of valid, standards-compliant HTML and ARIA attributes.

2.2 Applicable Legal Frameworks

In addition to WCAG, our accessibility efforts are informed by the following legal frameworks and regulatory requirements:

• Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title III: The ADA prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities in places of public accommodation. Federal courts and the U.S. Department of Justice have increasingly recognized that commercial websites operated by private businesses constitute places of public accommodation subject to ADA requirements. We are committed to providing a website experience that does not discriminate against users with disabilities.
• Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (as amended): While Section 508 applies primarily to federal agencies and federally funded programs, its technical standards, which align closely with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, inform our accessibility implementation as a baseline reference.
• European Accessibility Act (EAA) / Directive (EU) 2019/882: For clients and users located in the European Union, the European Accessibility Act requires certain digital products and services to meet accessibility requirements. We acknowledge these requirements and work to align our website with EAA standards where applicable.
• EN 301 549 (European Standard): The European standard for accessibility requirements for information and communication technology products and services, which incorporates WCAG 2.1 Level AA as its web content accessibility standard.
• UK Equality Act 2010: For users located in the United Kingdom, the Equality Act 2010 requires service providers to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that disabled persons are not placed at a substantial disadvantage. We are committed to making reasonable adjustments to facilitate access to our services by users with disabilities.

3. Current Accessibility Features

We have implemented or are working toward the following accessibility features on our website:

3.1 Visual Accessibility

• Text alternatives (alt text) are provided for informative images throughout the website, enabling screen readers to convey image content to visually impaired users
• Decorative images are marked appropriately so that screen readers bypass them without creating unnecessary noise
• Text color and background color combinations are selected to meet or approach the WCAG 2.1 Level AA minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text
• Text can be resized up to 200 percent using standard browser zoom functionality without loss of content or functionality
• The website does not rely solely on color to convey information, instructions, or required actions
• Design visualizations and before-and-after images include descriptive alt text or captions where their content is informative rather than purely decorative

3.2 Keyboard and Navigation Accessibility

• All interactive elements on the website, including navigation menus, buttons, form fields, and links, are accessible and operable using a keyboard alone, without requiring a mouse or touch input
• Visible focus indicators are present on interactive elements to allow keyboard users to track their position on the page
• The website navigation follows a logical and consistent structure across all pages, enabling users to predict where navigation elements will appear
• Skip navigation links are provided or are being implemented to allow keyboard and screen reader users to bypass repetitive navigation blocks and jump directly to main content
• Form fields in our contact and order forms include associated labels that are programmatically connected to each input, enabling screen readers to correctly identify and announce form fields

3.3 Content Readability and Structure

• Page headings are structured hierarchically using proper heading levels (H1, H2, H3) to provide a logical document outline navigable by screen reader users
• Page language is declared in the HTML lang attribute, enabling screen readers and translation tools to correctly identify and process the content language
• Instructions and labels for form fields do not rely solely on sensory characteristics such as shape, color, or position
• Error messages in forms identify the specific field in error and provide descriptive guidance to assist users in correcting their input
• Links are written with descriptive text that conveys their purpose, rather than generic phrases such as “click here” or “read more”

3.4 Motion and Multimedia

• Any animations or auto-playing content on the website can be paused, stopped, or hidden by the user
• The website does not contain content that flashes more than three times per second, which could trigger photosensitive seizures in susceptible individuals
• Where video content is used, captions and transcripts are provided or are being implemented

4. Known Accessibility Limitations

We are transparent about the current limitations of our website’s accessibility implementation. While we are committed to continuous improvement, the following known limitations exist as of the Effective Date of this Policy:

• Design Visualization Images: Our core service deliverable involves complex exterior design visualizations. While we provide alt text for portfolio and example images on the website, the detailed visual information conveyed by these design renderings may not be fully communicable through text alternatives alone. Users who are unable to access visual design content are encouraged to contact us directly at info@facadeline.com, and we will provide a verbal or written description of design options, arrange a consultation call with additional verbal explanation, or explore alternative formats for conveying design information.
• Third-Party Embedded Content: Our website uses third-party services including Stripe payment forms, social media integration elements, and analytics tools. The accessibility of these embedded components is governed by the respective third-party providers and is not fully within our direct control. We select third-party providers that demonstrate a commitment to accessibility and will raise accessibility concerns with our providers when they are identified.
• Legacy Content: Certain older content or images on our website may not yet meet full WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. We are conducting an ongoing review of all website content and will remediate accessibility issues as they are identified.
• PDF Documents: If any PDF documents are made available on our website, they may not currently be fully accessible to screen reader users. We will work to ensure that any PDFs offered for download are tagged and structured for accessibility or that accessible HTML alternatives are provided.
• Complex Form Interactions: Certain dynamic form behaviors, such as conditional field display based on checkbox selection, may present challenges for some assistive technologies. We are reviewing these interactions and working to ensure that all form functionality is accessible.

5. Assistive Technology Compatibility

Our website is designed to be compatible with the following categories of assistive technologies:

• Screen readers, including but not limited to NVDA (NonVisual Desktop Access), JAWS (Job Access With Speech), VoiceOver (Apple), TalkBack (Android), and Narrator (Windows)
• Screen magnification software, including ZoomText and built-in browser and operating system zoom features
• Voice recognition and voice control software, including Dragon NaturallySpeaking and Voice Control on Apple devices
• Alternative keyboard and pointing devices, including switch access, sip-and-puff devices, and eye-tracking systems
• Browser accessibility features, including high contrast mode, forced colors mode, and font size adjustments

We test our website against commonly used screen readers and browsers to verify baseline compatibility. Our testing includes keyboard-only navigation testing and automated accessibility scanning using tools such as axe, WAVE, or equivalent. We acknowledge that no automated tool can identify all accessibility barriers, and we supplement automated testing with manual review where practicable.

If you use a specific assistive technology and encounter a barrier on our website that is not described in Section 4, we encourage you to contact us as described in Section 7 so that we can investigate and address the issue.

6. Accessibility Accommodations and Alternative Access

Facade Line LLC is committed to ensuring that all prospective and current clients can access our services regardless of disability. Where our website does not fully meet accessibility requirements, we offer the following accommodations:

• Telephone and Email Consultation: Clients who are unable to complete our online contact form or order process due to an accessibility barrier may contact us directly by email at info@facadeline.com. We will provide equivalent access to all services through alternative communication channels, including email-based intake, telephone consultation, and manual order processing where necessary.
• Alternative Format Requests: Clients who require information about our services, pricing, or Deliverables in an alternative format, such as large print, plain text, or audio description, may request these through info@facadeline.com. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests in a timely manner.
• Extended Consultation Support: Clients with cognitive or communication disabilities who require additional time or support during the consultation process are encouraged to inform us of their needs at the outset. We will adapt our consultation process to accommodate individual requirements, including extended meeting times, written summaries of consultation discussions, and simplified project communications.
• Design Consultation Accessibility: For clients who are deaf or hard of hearing, we can accommodate consultation meetings conducted by text-based video conferencing, email exchange, or instant messaging in lieu of voice calls. Clients are encouraged to specify their communication preference when submitting the contact form.

No client will be refused service or treated less favorably on the basis of disability. We are committed to providing equivalent access to our services through reasonable adjustments and alternative means where our website does not meet the needs of all users.

7. Accessibility Feedback and Complaints

7.1 How to Report an Accessibility Issue

We welcome feedback from users who encounter accessibility barriers on our website or in connection with our services. If you experience a barrier that prevents or hinders your access to any content or functionality on https://facadeline.com/, please contact us with the following information:

Users in the United Kingdom may contact the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) at https://www.equalityhumanrights.com if they believe our website fails to meet the accessibility requirements of the Equality Act 2010.

8. Ongoing Accessibility Improvement

Facade Line LLC treats web accessibility as an ongoing commitment rather than a one-time compliance exercise. Our approach to continuous accessibility improvement includes the following:

• Periodic Accessibility Audits: We conduct or commission periodic accessibility reviews of our website using a combination of automated scanning tools and manual testing with assistive technologies. The findings of these reviews inform our accessibility remediation roadmap.
• Remediation Prioritization: Accessibility issues identified through audits, user feedback, or internal review are prioritized based on the severity of the barrier and the number of users affected. Critical barriers that prevent users from completing essential tasks, such as submitting the contact form or placing an Order, are treated as high priority and addressed as promptly as practicable.
• Developer and Content Training: We incorporate accessibility considerations into our website development and content creation processes. Where we engage third-party developers or designers, we communicate our accessibility requirements and include accessibility as a criterion in our evaluation of third-party work.
• Third-Party Provider Engagement: We monitor the accessibility practices of our third-party service providers, including our payment processor, form plugin provider, and analytics provider, and will raise accessibility concerns with those providers when identified. We select providers that demonstrate a commitment to accessibility in their products.
• Policy Review: This Accessibility Policy is reviewed and updated at least annually, or more frequently when significant changes are made to the website or when new accessibility standards or legal requirements become applicable.

9. Scope and Limitations of This Policy

This Accessibility Policy applies to all content and functionality on https://facadeline.com/ that is directly owned and operated by Facade Line LLC. It does not apply to:

• Third-party websites linked from our website, whose accessibility is governed by those websites’ own policies and practices
• Content on third-party social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram) through which we maintain a business presence, as those platforms are subject to their own accessibility standards and policies
• Mobile applications, if any, which would be subject to separate accessibility assessments

Where third-party embedded tools or services on our website present accessibility limitations, we identify these in Section 4 and provide alternative access routes as described in Section 6.

10. Updates to This Policy

Facade Line LLC reserves the right to update this Accessibility Policy at any time to reflect improvements to our website’s accessibility, changes in applicable legal requirements, or changes in the WCAG standards we work toward.
