1. Our Commitment to Payment Security
Facade Line LLC is committed to providing a safe, transparent, and trustworthy payment experience for every client. We understand that sharing payment information online requires confidence in the systems and standards used to protect it. This Secure Payment Policy describes the payment methods we accept, the security infrastructure and standards that govern all transactions processed through our website at https://facadeline.com/, the role of our payment processor, and the protections in place for clients who purchase our exterior design visualization services.
All payment processing on our website is handled exclusively through industry-leading, certified third-party payment infrastructure. We do not operate our own payment processing systems, and we do not collect, store, or have access to sensitive payment card data at any point during the transaction process. This approach ensures that your financial information is handled only by specialized, regulated, and independently audited payment service providers operating to the highest available security standards.
This Policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, and Refund and Returns Policy, all of which are available at https://facadeline.com/.
2. Accepted Payment Methods
Facade Line LLC currently accepts the following payment methods for all service orders placed through our website:
2.1 Credit and Debit Cards
We accept all major credit and debit cards processed through Stripe, Inc., our primary payment processor. Accepted card networks include:
• Visa (credit and debit)
• Mastercard (credit and debit)
• American Express
• Discover
• Diners Club
• JCB
• UnionPay (where supported by Stripe in the applicable region)
Card payments are processed in real time at the point of Order placement. Authorization and capture occur simultaneously, and the full service fee is charged at the time of Order confirmation. We do not offer deferred billing, installment plans, or partial payment arrangements unless expressly agreed in writing.
2.2 Additional Payment Methods via Stripe
Depending on your geographic location and the payment methods enabled through Stripe at the time of your Order, additional payment options may be available, including:
• Apple Pay: Available on supported Apple devices and browsers. Apple Pay transactions are authenticated using Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode and do not expose your card number to the merchant.
• Google Pay: Available on supported Android devices and Chrome browsers. Google Pay uses tokenization to protect your card details during the transaction.
• Link by Stripe: Stripe’s accelerated checkout service that securely saves payment details for faster future transactions across Stripe-powered merchants.
The availability of specific payment methods may vary by region and is subject to Stripe’s operational capabilities in your country. If a preferred payment method is not available at checkout, please contact us at info@facadeline.com.
2.3 Bank Transfer and ACH (Upon Request)
For clients who prefer bank transfer or ACH (Automated Clearing House) payment, this option may be available upon direct request and is subject to prior arrangement with Facade Line LLC. Bank transfer and ACH payments are processed through Stripe’s bank payment infrastructure or via direct wire transfer, depending on the client’s location and preference. Clients wishing to pay via bank transfer or ACH should contact us at info@facadeline.com before placing an Order to arrange payment terms and confirm account details through a verified communication channel.
Wire transfer instructions will be provided only through our verified email address at info@facadeline.com. Clients are advised to verify all wire transfer details directly with us before initiating any transfer, as wire fraud involving impersonation of legitimate businesses is a known risk. We will never request changes to wire transfer instructions via unsolicited email or third-party communication.
2.4 Currencies
All prices on our website are denominated in United States Dollars (USD). Stripe supports multi-currency processing, and clients paying with non-USD payment methods may have their transactions converted to USD by their card issuer or bank at the applicable exchange rate at the time of transaction. Facade Line LLC is not responsible for any currency conversion fees, foreign transaction fees, or exchange rate variations applied by the Client’s financial institution.
3. Our Payment Processor: Stripe, Inc.
3.1 Overview of Stripe
All card and digital wallet payments processed through https://facadeline.com/ are handled by Stripe, Inc. (“Stripe”), a globally recognized and regulated financial technology company headquartered in San Francisco, California, USA, with international operations across more than 46 countries. Stripe processes billions of dollars in transactions annually and serves businesses of all sizes, from sole proprietors to Fortune 500 companies.
Stripe is a registered Payment Service Provider (PSP) and is licensed or authorized to operate as a payment processor in the United States and in multiple international jurisdictions. In the European Economic Area, Stripe operates through Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., which is authorized and regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland as an electronic money institution.
3.2 Stripe’s Role in Payment Processing
When you complete a purchase on our website, your payment card details are entered directly into a Stripe-hosted payment form embedded in our checkout page. This means your card number, expiration date, and CVV/CVC security code are transmitted directly to Stripe’s servers and are never passed through, stored on, or accessible to Facade Line LLC’s systems at any point. Facade Line LLC receives only a transaction confirmation, a payment reference identifier, and limited non-sensitive metadata such as the card type and last four digits, which is used solely for order management and client communications.
3.3 Stripe’s Security Certifications
Stripe maintains the following security certifications and compliance frameworks, which are independently audited and renewed on an ongoing basis:
• PCI DSS Level 1 Service Provider: The highest level of certification under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), which is the global security standard for organizations that handle cardholder data. Level 1 certification requires an annual on-site audit by a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and quarterly network scans by an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV). Stripe’s PCI DSS compliance report is publicly available at https://stripe.com/guides/pci-compliance.
• ISO/IEC 27001 Certification: An internationally recognized standard for information security management systems (ISMS), demonstrating that Stripe has implemented comprehensive controls for managing information security risks.
• SOC 1 Type II and SOC 2 Type II Reports: Independent third-party audits conducted under the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) standards, covering the design and operating effectiveness of Stripe’s internal controls over financial reporting and security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
• GDPR Compliance: Stripe processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and acts as a data processor under our data processing agreement. Stripe’s GDPR compliance documentation is available at https://stripe.com/privacy.
More information about Stripe’s security practices, compliance certifications, and privacy policies is available at https://stripe.com/security and https://stripe.com/privacy.
4. Security Technologies and Infrastructure
4.1 Transport Layer Security (TLS/SSL)
All data transmitted between your browser and our website, including all payment-related data, is protected by Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption. Our website enforces HTTPS across all pages, ensuring that no data is transmitted in plain text. You can verify the security of your connection by looking for the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar when visiting https://facadeline.com/.
We use TLS 1.2 or higher, in accordance with current industry best practices and PCI DSS requirements. Older, insecure protocol versions (SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1) are not supported. Our SSL/TLS certificate is issued by a trusted Certificate Authority and is renewed regularly to maintain continuous encryption coverage.
4.2 Tokenization
Stripe uses tokenization to protect payment card data. When you submit your card details, Stripe immediately replaces your actual card number with a randomly generated token. This token is used for all subsequent transaction processing and record-keeping, meaning that the actual card number is never stored, transmitted, or used after the initial capture. Tokenization ensures that even in the event of a data breach affecting our systems, no usable card data would be exposed, as we hold only tokens, not real card numbers.
4.3 3D Secure Authentication
Where required by the Client’s card issuer or applicable regulation, transactions may be subject to 3D Secure (3DS) authentication. 3D Secure is an additional layer of security for online card transactions that requires the cardholder to authenticate with their issuing bank, typically through a one-time password, biometric verification, or bank app confirmation. 3D Secure version 2 (3DS2) is the current standard and is designed to minimize friction while providing strong customer authentication in compliance with the European Union’s Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2) Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) requirements.
4.4 Fraud Detection and Prevention
Stripe employs machine learning-powered fraud detection systems, collectively referred to as Stripe Radar, which analyze hundreds of data signals associated with each transaction to identify and block potentially fraudulent activity in real time. Stripe Radar evaluates factors including device fingerprinting, behavioral patterns, IP geolocation, transaction velocity, and card network data to assign a risk score to each transaction. Transactions identified as high risk may be declined or flagged for additional review.
Facade Line LLC also monitors Order patterns for signs of fraudulent activity and reserves the right to cancel or hold Orders pending verification where fraud indicators are detected. In such cases, we will contact the Client using the information provided at checkout to verify the transaction before proceeding.
4.5 No Storage of Payment Card Data by Facade Line LLC
Facade Line LLC does not store, process, or transmit payment card numbers, CVV/CVC codes, or full card data on our own servers or systems at any time. Our website is designed so that all sensitive payment information flows exclusively through Stripe’s secure infrastructure. Our internal records contain only Stripe-generated payment references, transaction status indicators, order amounts, and limited non-sensitive card metadata (card type and last four digits) retained solely for order management and client support purposes.
This architectural approach means that Facade Line LLC’s systems are out of scope for PCI DSS cardholder data environment requirements with respect to card storage, and that a compromise of our systems would not expose usable payment card information.
5. Payment Transaction Process
The following describes the standard flow of a payment transaction when you place an Order on our website:
• Step 1 – Order Initiation: The Client selects a service package and proceeds to the checkout page. The checkout page is served over HTTPS and embeds Stripe’s secure payment form elements directly within the page.
• Step 2 – Card Data Entry: The Client enters payment card details into Stripe’s embedded form. Card data is captured and encrypted by Stripe’s JavaScript library (Stripe.js) in the Client’s browser and transmitted directly to Stripe’s servers. Card data does not pass through Facade Line LLC’s servers.
• Step 3 – Tokenization and Authorization: Stripe tokenizes the card data and submits an authorization request to the Client’s card issuer through the relevant card network (Visa, Mastercard, etc.). The card issuer verifies the card details, checks available credit or funds, and applies any fraud detection rules.
• Step 4 – 3D Secure (where applicable): If the card issuer requires 3D Secure authentication, the Client is prompted to complete the authentication step before authorization proceeds.
• Step 5 – Authorization Response: The card issuer returns an authorization approval or decline to Stripe. If approved, Stripe notifies our website and the transaction is confirmed.
• Step 6 – Order Confirmation: Upon successful payment, the Client receives an Order confirmation by email from Facade Line LLC. The confirmation includes the Order details, the service purchased, and the total amount charged. A payment receipt is also sent by Stripe to the email address provided.
• Step 7 – Fund Settlement: Funds are settled from the Client’s card to Stripe and subsequently disbursed to Facade Line LLC’s business bank account on Stripe’s standard settlement schedule.
6. Payment Security for International Clients
Facade Line LLC serves clients nationally across the United States and internationally. Stripe supports payment processing in more than 135 currencies and across multiple regions, enabling a consistent and secure checkout experience for clients regardless of their country of residence.
International clients should be aware of the following:
• Foreign Transaction Fees: Some card issuers and banks charge foreign transaction fees for purchases processed in USD or through a US-based merchant. These fees are assessed by the Client’s financial institution and are not charged by Facade Line LLC or Stripe. Clients are advised to check with their card issuer regarding applicable foreign transaction fees before placing an Order.
• Currency Conversion: Transactions are processed in USD. Where the Client’s card is denominated in a different currency, conversion to USD will occur at the exchange rate applied by the Client’s card issuer or bank at the time of the transaction. Facade Line LLC has no control over and is not responsible for exchange rates or currency conversion fees.
• Regional Card Acceptance: While Stripe supports a broad range of international card networks, certain cards issued in specific countries may not be accepted. If you experience difficulties completing payment, please contact us at info@facadeline.com to discuss alternative payment arrangements.
• Strong Customer Authentication (SCA): Clients in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom may be subject to SCA requirements under PSD2, which may require additional authentication steps during checkout. This is a regulatory requirement designed to protect cardholders and is managed automatically by Stripe in coordination with the Client’s card issuer.
7. Payment Receipts and Transaction Records
Upon successful completion of a payment, Facade Line LLC will send an Order confirmation email to the email address provided at checkout. This email confirms the service purchased, the amount charged, and the Order reference number. A separate payment receipt may also be issued by Stripe directly to the Client’s email address, depending on Stripe’s configuration.
Clients are advised to retain their Order confirmation email and payment receipt for their records. These documents serve as proof of purchase and may be required in connection with any refund request, dispute resolution process, or tax record-keeping obligation applicable to the Client.
Facade Line LLC retains internal transaction records, including Stripe payment references, Order amounts, and transaction dates, for a minimum of seven (7) years in accordance with US federal and state financial record-keeping requirements. These records are maintained for the purposes of financial accounting, tax compliance, and dispute resolution.
8. Failed and Declined Payments
A payment may be declined for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to:
• Insufficient available credit or funds on the card
• Card expiration or incorrectly entered card details
• Card issuer fraud prevention rules blocking the transaction
• Daily or transaction spending limits imposed by the card issuer
• Geographic restrictions on international transactions
• 3D Secure authentication failure or timeout
• Stripe Radar fraud detection flagging the transaction as high risk
If your payment is declined, you will be notified at the checkout page. No funds will be charged if the authorization is declined. You may attempt payment again with the same or a different payment method. If you continue to experience payment difficulties, please contact us at info@facadeline.com and we will assist in identifying a suitable payment arrangement.
Facade Line LLC is not responsible for any fees, charges, or consequences imposed by your card issuer in connection with a declined or failed transaction attempt.
9. Fraud Prevention and Reporting
Facade Line LLC takes payment fraud seriously and actively cooperates with Stripe, card networks, and law enforcement agencies to prevent and address fraudulent payment activity. If you believe that your payment card has been used fraudulently to make a purchase on our website, you should:
• Contact your card issuer immediately to report the unauthorized transaction and request a block on your card
• File a report with your local law enforcement authority
• Contact Facade Line LLC at info@facadeline.com to notify us of the suspected fraud so that we can investigate and take appropriate action
Facade Line LLC reserves the right to cancel any Order that is identified as potentially fraudulent, to report suspected fraud to relevant authorities, and to cooperate fully with any investigation. We maintain comprehensive records of all transactions, IP addresses, and session data associated with Orders, which may be made available to law enforcement or card network investigators upon lawful request.
Clients are also reminded that initiating a chargeback for a legitimately processed transaction constitutes “friendly fraud” and may be contested by the Company using available evidence. Please refer to our Refund and Returns Policy for the correct procedure for requesting a refund or resolving a payment concern.
10. PCI DSS Compliance Framework
The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a set of security standards established by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC), founded by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and JCB. PCI DSS applies to all entities that store, process, or transmit cardholder data and is designed to protect against data breaches and payment card fraud.
Because Facade Line LLC uses Stripe’s hosted payment infrastructure and does not store, process, or transmit cardholder data on its own systems, the Company operates under a reduced PCI DSS compliance scope. We complete an annual Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) as required by our payment processor to confirm that our implementation of Stripe’s hosted payment forms meets applicable PCI DSS requirements for our merchant category.
Stripe, as a Level 1 PCI DSS Service Provider, undergoes annual on-site assessments by a Qualified Security Assessor and submits quarterly vulnerability scans. Stripe’s compliance status can be verified at https://stripe.com/guides/pci-compliance. By processing all card payments through Stripe, Facade Line LLC benefits from Stripe’s PCI DSS compliance infrastructure without exposing cardholder data to our own systems.
11. Privacy and Data Protection in Payment Processing
Personal data collected in connection with payment processing, including the Client’s name, email address, billing address, and limited card metadata, is processed in accordance with Facade Line LLC’s Privacy Policy, available at https://facadeline.com/. Payment-related personal data is shared with Stripe solely for the purpose of processing the transaction and preventing fraud.
Stripe processes personal data as a data processor under our data processing agreement and in accordance with Stripe’s own Privacy Policy, available at https://stripe.com/privacy. Stripe may transfer payment data internationally in connection with its payment processing operations. Such transfers are made subject to appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
Facade Line LLC does not sell or share payment-related personal data with any third party for marketing or commercial purposes. Payment records are retained for the minimum period required to comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations, as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Updates to This Policy
Facade Line LLC reserves the right to update this Secure Payment Policy at any time to reflect changes in accepted payment methods, security standards, third-party payment processor capabilities, or applicable regulatory requirements. Updates will be posted at https://facadeline.com/ with a revised Effective Date. Clients are encouraged to review this Policy periodically.
