Blueprint Guide

Blueprint Guide

To create an accurate and realistic design, we need clear and complete blueprint files.
Please follow the guidelines below to ensure the best possible results.

Up-To-Date Blueprint

Blueprints must be final and up to date.

We design based on the plans you provide, which means structural elements such as walls, rooflines, and
layout cannot be modified during the design process.

If changes are needed, please update your blueprint before submitting make sure the primary view is
clear and easy to read.

What Can Be Adjusted

While structural elements remain fixed, we can enhance and refine many design details.

This includes:

-window and door configurations,
-exterior materials and finishes,
-lighting and architectural details,
-additions like pergolas, awnings, and walkways.

Our goal is to elevate the design while staying true to the structure of your plans.

Use 2D Blueprint

2D drawings allow us to accurately trace and build your home’s structure, which is essential for creating a
realistic and precise exterior visualization.

3D renderings can be helpful for understanding depth, proportions, and overall massing, but they cannot
be used as the primary working file for the design.

If available, you are welcome to include both 2D and 3D files — this helps us better interpret your project
and deliver a more refined result.

Builder Materials

If you are working with a builder, some materials may already be selected or restricted.

This may include elements such as brick, siding, roofing, windows, or trim from specific manufacturers.

In this case:

-share links or references to the required materials,
-provide high-quality images whenever possible.

If exact materials are not provided, we will use the closest available references to represent them in the
design.

Providing clear and accurate material information helps us create a more precise and realistic design.

File Preparation

To help us work efficiently, please prepare:

-a clear image or screenshot of your blueprint (front or main elevation),
-additional views such as floor plans or alternate elevations (if available).

If you’re not sure what to submit, feel free to send multiple files — we’ll review them and select the best
option for your project.

Home Additions

If your project includes an addition or renovation, it’s important that we clearly understand both the
existing home and the new proposed structure.

Please provide:

-a blueprint showing the full structure (existing home + addition together),
-clear, high-quality photos of the current home (see our Photo Guide for best results).

The blueprint should not show only the new addition — it must include how the addition connects to the
existing structure.

To avoid confusion, you can mark or annotate your images to show what stays and what will be changed.

For example, if you plan to keep existing materials such as siding, brick, or roofing, please indicate this
clearly.
This helps ensure we don’t unintentionally redesign areas that are meant to remain as they are.

The more clearly your project is defined, the more accurate and realistic your final design will be.

Permissions

Some blueprints may include watermarks or usage restrictions.

If required, please ensure you have permission to share and use the plans for design purposes.

To create an accurate and realistic design, we need clear and complete blueprint files.

Please follow the guidelines below to ensure the best possible results.

Your blueprint is the foundation of your entire design — it’s the structure we build on.

The clearer, more accurate, and complete your plans are, the more precise and realistic your final design will be.

Every detail we create — from materials and colors to architectural elements — depends on how clearly we can
interpret your plans.

Taking a few extra minutes to prepare your files can make a significant difference in the final result.

Once your files are ready and submitted, we begin working on your design.
